Help Us Build Julie’s Home for Divine Children 🏡❤️

Some people change the direction of your life simply by opening their door.

For me, that person was Julie.

At a time in my life when I desperately needed stability, safety, and somewhere to belong, Julie and her family gave me something I had rarely experienced before: a home that felt safe.

The energy in their house was warm and inviting. Their hugs were pillowy and electric, giving my tired heart a boost of energy I didn’t even realize I needed. Their home became one of my first lessons in what love could actually feel like.

That experience planted a seed that has stayed with me for decades.

Now, I want to build Julie’s Home for Divine Children.

Julie’s Home is our long-term vision for a supportive residential healing environment created for highly sensitive young people and young adults who need more than a roof over their heads. They need a place where they can feel safe enough to discover who they are, learn how to understand their emotions and bodies, express themselves creatively, build healthy relationships, and imagine a different future.

We envision a home centered around the things that helped change my own life:

This isn't just about creating a building.

It is about creating the kind of environment that can become a turning point in someone's life.

Before Julie’s Home can become a physical place, we have to build the foundation. Donations will help us develop the vision, programming, partnerships, community experiences, organizational infrastructure, and resources necessary to move this dream toward reality.

Why “Divine Children”?

Because some people spend their early lives being told they are too emotional, too sensitive, too different, too difficult, or simply too much.

We want them to encounter a different message:

There is nothing shameful about your sensitivity. There is something within you worth discovering, protecting, developing, and sharing with the world.

Julie once gave me a safe place to land when I needed one.

Now I want to pay that gift forward.
