A Journey Back to Body, Voice, Worth & Self-Devotion

Sacred Self Reclamation™ is a weekly trauma-informed healing journey created for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse who are ready to explore their relationship with their body, emotions, identity, boundaries, and sense of self.

Sexual trauma can affect far more than memories of what happened. The body may learn patterns of disconnection, hypervigilance, freezing, people-pleasing, shame, difficulty receiving pleasure, or feeling responsible for the comfort of others.

Sacred Self Reclamation creates space to begin relating to yourself differently.

Using gentle breathwork, intentional movement, somatic awareness, reflective shadow work, energetic practices, and self-devotion, we move through four stages:

SAFETY → RELEASE → RECLAIM → DEVOTION

The purpose is not to force you to relive your trauma or uncover memories. Instead, we work with what is present today, helping you strengthen your relationship with your body, recognize the survival patterns you developed, reconnect with your voice and boundaries, and intentionally cultivate a relationship with yourself based on care, choice, and devotion.

WEEK ONE | SAFETY

Return to the Body

Before we ask the body to release anything, we begin by practicing safety.

This week focuses on reconnecting with the body through gentle breathing, grounding, sensory awareness, and intentional movement. You begin noticing your body's signals without immediately judging, suppressing, or overriding them.

We explore the difference between being physically safe and feeling safe inside your body, while developing practices that can help you return to the present when emotions or sensations become overwhelming.

The intention:
My body belongs to me. I am learning how to listen to it.

WEEK TWO | RELEASE

Give the Body a Voice

Survival can require the body to hold what could not safely be expressed at the time.

This week creates space for expression through breath, movement, sound, journaling, creative practices, and somatic awareness.

Rather than forcing an emotional release, you practice noticing what your body wants to communicate. Anger may need acknowledgment. Grief may need space. A boundary may need a voice. A younger part of you may simply need to finally be heard.

You also begin identifying survival responses and patterns that may once have protected you but no longer need to direct your adult life.

The intention:
What I feel is allowed to have a voice.

WEEK THREE | RECLAIM

Meet the Self Beneath the Survival

This is where we begin the shadow-work portion of the journey.

We explore beliefs and identities that may have formed around the experience: shame, guilt, worth, trust, sexuality, relationships, visibility, boundaries, people-pleasing, control, and the ways you learned to protect yourself.

Instead of treating these parts of yourself as broken or unwanted, we approach them with curiosity.

You begin asking:

What did this part of me learn?
What was it trying to protect?
What does it need from me now?
What beliefs am I ready to stop carrying?
Who am I when survival is no longer defining me?

Reclamation also means strengthening your ability to choose: yes, no, stop, more, less, stay, leave, speak, receive.

The intention:
I reclaim my voice, my choices, my boundaries, and my relationship with myself.

WEEK FOUR | DEVOTION

Fill the Space With Love

Healing isn't only about what we release. It is also about what we intentionally cultivate afterward.

The final week introduces self-devotion as an embodied practice.

We explore compassionate touch where comfortable, affirmations, ritual, creativity, pleasure without expectation, energetic care, boundaries, rest, celebration, and practices that communicate one message repeatedly to the body:

I am worthy of my own care.

Rather than trying to become the person you were before the trauma, you begin consciously choosing the relationship you want to have with yourself now.

The journey closes by creating a personalized Self-Devotion Practice that participants can continue beyond the four weeks.

The intention:
I belong to myself, and I choose to treat that relationship as sacred.

You are not reclaiming innocence because you became impure.

Sacred Self Reclamation is about recognizing that the deepest part of you was never defined by what someone else did.

You are reclaiming your body, your voice, your boundaries, your choices, your capacity for connection, and your relationship with yourself.

You are learning to belong to yourself again.

Sacred Self Reclamation is a trauma-informed complementary wellness and personal-development program and is not psychotherapy or a substitute for treatment from a licensed mental-health professional. Participants are encouraged to work with qualified trauma professionals when additional clinical support is needed.
